Literature insit

At this time in my life literature is not too significant in my life. I know that it is a very important aspect to human life. I believe this is why I have this inner power urging me to become closer to literature. I know the power that literature potentially has. It is amazing how much knowledge you can gain from reading. The majority of everything that is known here on earth is some where in a book and we can learn about it. If only I had more time to just sit and read...
Literature does speak to me. I have been touched and moved by people’s writings. Movies and music speak to me and many people. This is just literature in a different form. Many people are influenced and are informed of many subjects through movies, music, and television. It is a powerful tool. Literature is a tool that has been used for many years. It has been used to control populations, manipulate people, guide people, save souls, create inner happiness and peace, to share and connect with other people. There are so many more ways that literature portraits its power, truly amazing.
By the end of this semester I plan to have a more close locked relationship with literature. I hope to be able to be more creative in my literature an have a more open mind while reading literature.
